Description Mesut Ozturk 2004-06-18 13:19:30 UTC
when i open a website with a flashmovie with my firefox, my mouse moves like a crazy from one corner to another and clicks randomly. after like 10 second, it turns to normal. and it may occure again, till i close that website.
and sometimes, right clicking on a flash movie, makes firefox die.
i tries plug-in version 6 and 7 from macromedia, and plugin from portage, with opera, firefox mozilla, and even with internet explorer running on crossover office. All give same result. I deleted my gentoo installation, and install fedora, everything was normal. then removed fedora immediately and made a clean Gentoo install again, but same result.

Expected Results:
anyother thing except actual results ... :D

i ve tried firefox ebuild from portage (currently 0.8) and downloaded both 0.8
and 0.9 from mozilla.org, still same result.

any problems.

maybe this Bug is related to #54587 "Logitech Mouse problem - randomly jumps around in XFree86" ??
Comment 3 Donnie Berkholz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-31 20:07:16 UTC
This is generally because the wrong mouse protocol is set in xorg.conf -- try ExplorerPS/2, ImPS/2, PS/2, or Auto. Please reopen if this remains an issue in modular X.
