Description Miles Lubin 2004-06-18 10:05:40 UTC
ald (Assembly Language Debugger) is a debugger at the assembly level, only works on x86. It was requested in bug 54298. I'm not sure of the correct category, so I'll leave that up to you ;)
Not sure of any depenancies besides the optional ncurses.

Actually, the gcc dep should be sys-devel/gcc.
Taking it for a spin...

Fixed a syntax error with the optional dependancy, fixed gcc, and removed a

Version bump, homepage and license update, and looks nicer :)

Should I ask when will this ebuild be inserted into portage ? I know I can install it manually, but don't now how to properly generate digest ...

ebuild /usr/local/portage/sys-devel/ald/files/digest-ald-0.1.7 digest
!!! Name error in al
!!! Error: PF is null 'digest-al'; exiting.
Comment 9 Honza 2004-11-05 11:13:13 UTC
Sorry. Copy & paste from wrong place. After using ebuild path and not missing file path, ald sucessfully installed.

Still, should I ask when will this ebuild be inserted into portage ?

I've added it as dev-util/ald to the tree.. With myself as the maintainer and dev-tools as the backup herd
