I want to register for gentoo overlay infrastructure. In the moment my overlay is available at: https://github.com/archenroot/gentoo-overlay This is all related to mostly: dev-java - I am middleware developer app-emulation - running within vmware or virtualbox custom ebuilds + PAC ssh, etc. Thank you! Just to be clear, are you asking us to create a Gentoo-hosted git repository for it, or just add the existing github repository to layman's list?
Sorry, my mistake for non-clean description. I finally decided to go with github as soon as I have all my projects hosted there. So, just add the existing github repository to layman's list.
Your repo_name states: helios.archenroot.org This is not a valid repository name. Only [A-Za-z0-9_-] are allowed in repository names. Also, layman uses the repository name, so I recommend using something easy to type.
I changed the repository to "archenroot"
repo_name file content is now archenroot. As soon as I am working on latest versions for Java related products/libraries, I also wanted to ask to contribute working ebuilds to Gentoo Java overlay. In the moment I have Hudson build server and Sonatype Nexus tools available. Who should I contact? Thanks.
Added, should appear in a few hours. I'm sorry for the delay. As for java contributions, I suggest #gentoo-java, or possibly filing bugs about particular changes you'd like to do.
no problem, thank you very much!
