When running xgammon, an X window briefly flashes on my screen, only to disappear immediately.


→ xgammon
couldn't load doubler dice font, using default, sorry

do you have any helvetica fonts installed like the packages tells you to?

I missed the message to install the font, and when I did everything worked.

I wrote a reply here, but must have forgotten to hit "Save Changes".
