Bug 54244 – evolution + libgtkhtml cannot input Japanese, it need preedit-patch

libgtkhtml not imprement IM preedit.
I found this fix patch, and make USE="cjk"ed ebuild.


Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.launch evolution
2.create New Mail
3.activate IM (like uim,im-ja) and input Kanji text

this patch add IM pre-edit feauture for libgtkhtml.
it bring evolution can write Japanese Message mail.

can someone of the cjk team confirm & test ?

I don't really know, but I don't think adding cjk for gtkhtml only is a good idea :  it should work by default, shouldn't it ? This used to work I assume ?

I confirmed and tested it. Actually this patch and ebuild were tested
among GentooJP users for several months already. It should work by
default but it hasn't, and isn't working. (It is a well known fact
that evolution is not work with GTK+ immodules without the patch)
I could upload screenshots describing how it doesn't work.

Thanks for the ebuild and patch. I've just added them as libgtkhtml-3.0.10-r1.ebuild.
