I can confirm these. It looks to be related to webmock versions, but it's not clear to me how the test code would work with any recent version of webmock, and it doesn't work with the version that they advertise as using. Needs a bit more investigating and discussion with upstream.
I think this already got fixed for later ebuilds by adding compatibility code for older webmock versions. In any case github_api 0.17.0 upgraded to a newer version of webmock and all tests now pass out of the box again.
