Description Pjotter Tommassen 2004-06-17 03:04:32 UTC
When I try to run Baldur's Gate using (vanilla) Wine, it crashes before it even manages to open a window. It has the following trace before the crash:

0009:trace:virtual:NtMapViewOfSection handle=0x64 addr=0x50000000 off=000000000 size=0 access=4
 0009: get_mapping_info( handle=0x64 )

I get this problem with all Wine versions currently in portage. However, when using Mandrake 10.0, Baldur's Gate works flawlessly (Wine version 20040213), so I asume that this is a Gentoo specific bug.

I hope this helps.

Sorry, we only do native games. I'm reassigning this to the WINE team.
