[foo]
repo-name = foo

Now if foo has no profiles/repo_name, everything works fine. However, if it has profiles/repo_name, that name overrides the user-specified name that's desired here.

I need that for lightweight-cvs-toolkit. Override in layout.conf is not enough since I already committed that accidentally ;).

Why would a repos.conf need a repo-name option. The section name is used already as the repo-name. Maybe I'm missing something still waking up...

That was 'trying hard' to override profiles/repo_name. With or without that, profiles/repo_name still overrides section name.
