I PXE-boot a bunch of systems, and i have had no issues with openrc reading the softlevel= option on the kernel command line on any of them.

Are you sure this is an openrc issue and not something else? If you can get the system to boot, cat /proc/cmdline and confirm the softlevel= option is there at all
Comment 4 INODE64 Sistemas 2015-03-01 08:56:04 UTC
Yes, the first check /proc/cmdline and is ok
I only update o downgrade the openrc to solve the problem
I not use anything unionfs or aufs, mount direct a nfs with root

Could you show both your pxe config (what sets the kernel and commandline) as well as the content of /proc/cmdline after booting? The only thing that might be an issue here is the way parsing is occurring, ie, your particular use case for some reason parses incorrectly. We can only determine that though if we duplicate exactly what you're using.
Comment 6 INODE64 Sistemas 2015-03-09 19:05:50 UTC
I other installation of pxe run Fine, I search the differences, and send the result
Comment 7 William Hubbs gentoo-dev 2015-04-02 17:04:31 UTC
When you find out what the difference between your non-working and
working PXE installations is, please re-open this and let us know so
we can determine whether this is an OpenRC issue.

Thanks much,

William
