build.log

lxqt-panel-0.9.0 fails to build for me. I've tried rebuilding libqtxdg and xdg-utils but it didn't solve the problem.

Comment 2 Peter Gantner (a.k.a. nephros) 2015-03-02 09:05:04 UTC
Seconded, getting the exact same thing on both lxqt-panel and lxqt-session 0.9.0.
Comment 3 Peter Gantner (a.k.a. nephros) 2015-03-06 14:04:25 UTC
The fix for this is to rebuild kde-frameworks/kwindowsystem with USE=X set.

@lxqt maintainers: Do you want me to file a separate bug requesting the two packages to DEPEND on kde-frameworks/kwindowsystem[X] or will you take it from here?

Or should maybe kde-frameworks/kwindowsystem default to USE=X?

We can use this bug.

> Or should maybe kde-frameworks/kwindowsystem default to USE=X?

I'm not sure if we should hard depend on USE=X tho. In principle this should work with Wayland too. Maybe we should add an X useflag, which is default enabled.
Comment 5 Michael Palimaka (kensington) gentoo-dev 2016-10-13 13:32:01 UTC
kde-frameworks/kwindowsystem[X] is enforced in both packages now.
