I want to add it to the portage tree. I've fixed the ebuild:

1) Old header
2) GPL is not a valid license, it should be GPL-2
3) I think it should have RDEPEND="net-wireless/wireless-tools"

But I can't test it, for a strange reason I have this error:
Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x331)!

Can you test it and say if it works for you? thanks.

Hmm, I'm not able to ebuild digest the ebuild.

tp root # cd /usr/local/portage/net-wireless/kwirelesmonitor/
tp kwirelesmonitor # ls

probably because the dir is kwirelessmonitor not kwirelesmonitor

Yes, emerged fine and works nice on my Thinkpad T23 with ARtem PCMCIA card.
