The current version in portage (1.118) has issue with perl-5.20 and produce warning like: Possible precedence issue with control flow operator at /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.20.1/Perl/Critic/Utils.pm line 334. well, was fixed in 1.120 2013-10-25 [Bug Fixes] * Corrected "Possible precedence issue with control flow operator" warning. This fixes RT #88866 and be aware the last version required update PPI to 1.220 also
