The error seem to be unrelated to the hardened profile. I have changed the profile, recompiled all affected packages, but the same error persists. The same error affects a number of packages, e.g. wine It seems that all new multilib installations could be affected. It seems that some ebuilds are not yet ready for multilib (wine, adobe-flash,...) in the stable amd64 version. This is a bit of a surprise since the porting to multilib was ongoing for a long time. It is not clear to me where I can get the latest status on how to use the multilib feature. As a conclusion, I have to try unmasking ~amd64 or not use the multilib feature at all.
This is to confirm that this issue is gone with unmasking ~amd64. The issue exists only in the stable version amd64.
The emul-linux-x86 packages have been removed.
