Description David Flogeras 2015-02-13 16:11:50 UTC
I noticed that a VM that previously worked with 3D support turned on now reportes in the GUI that the host does not support 3D. Investigating I noticed a large dump in my console. If I run /usr/lib64/virtualbox/VBoxTestOGL I can reproduce it. This is potentially related to the hardware/video drivers, since on another machine I couldn't make it happen.

Upgrading to 4.3.20-r1 the issue goes away on the affected machine. Also, some other 3D issues that previous versions had displayed seem gone as well. Is it feasible to stable this version in case others out there have similar issues?

I'll attach the backtrace in a comment.

Reproducible: Always

I don't think so, I do not see any of the nspr / ioctl warnings in my dmesg.

No longer an issue now that 4.3.28 is stabled
