We've been using it on around 20 servers on amd64 since it came out.
According to http://www.redis.io/download: Stable (3.0) Old (2.8) Older (2.6) - Very old, you should not use Redis 2.6 Maybe it's time to drop 2.6?
I'd hold making 3.0 stable for a while based on the bugs I've seen upstream - but happy to STABLEREQ 2.8.x.
Yes, to avoid confusion, I wasn't proposing to stabilize 3.0, but to stabilize the latest 2.8.
I'm sure up for it mates (and a cleanup would not be too much too) but we still have a systemd related blocker here as per bug #537384 Would you care trying to help close it ?
Did a major clean up on the redis ebuilds. - dropped old and unstable ebuilds - 2.8.21 version bump - 3.0.3 version bump want to wait a bit and go for 2.8.21 + 3.0.3 stablereqs ?
Sounds like a good idea.
Dear arches, please stabilize =dev-db/redis-3.0.4 Once done, will open a bug for =dev-db/redis-2.8.21 unless you can/want to do it at the same time ? cheers
