I had to set FEATURES=-sandbox when emerging because of another reported bug.

this is not a gcc-porting bug...

and gcj is known not to compile with multilib enabled. it probably wont be fixed until we have proper multilib dependencies in portage and can get rid of the multilib disable hack in glibc :/
