Promise ata raid controllers not working. Unable to find the pdcraid and ataraid kernel modules. 

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
(booted gentoo livecd with 'gentoo doataraid')
1. modprobe pdcraid
2. modprobe ataraid

Actual Results:  
modprobe reported that the module cannot be found

Expected Results:  
loaded the module ..

MSI NEO-FIS2R Motherboard (FastTrack 378 raid controller onboard)
AMD64 CPU

Does 2.6 even support the old ataraid interface?  I was under the impression that it didn't.

nope, upstream took ataraid out of 2.6. closing ..
