Some time ago, I masked the latest NVidia drivers (1.0.2960) because they were
problematic for my chipset (VIA KT133/A); I am not alone with problems related
to these drivers - something which becomes obvious after perusing NVidia's own
website forums.

Since masking 1.0.2960, the 1.0.2880 ebuilds (for nvidia-kernel and nvidia-glx)
have been removed from the Portage tree.  This has resulted in todays
x11-libs/qt-3.0.5 release being unmergable due to the following error:

  !!! Error: couldn't find match for virtual/opengl in x11-libs/qt-3.0.5

I wonder, could the 1.0.2880 nvidia ebuilds be returned to the source tree - at
least until nvidia release a new set of drivers (which will probably resolve the
problems certain chipset users are experiencing)?
