It installs along with all its dependencies.  The following applications also had to be unmasked for the emerge and also installed correctly:

Added "~amd64" to app-vim. All the dependencies you listed are already "~amd64".
We will consider this for stable in the next days as soon as we get our reenforcement devs ;-)
