Swine is a graphical wine frontend, that makes it easy to install and run Windows software on Linux systems. Swine uses a modern QT4 interface to offer most of the wine command-line tools to users.
I'll put together an ebuild and upload it to wine-overlay when I can, and then I'll look into having it added to the main tree.
If I look there: https://github.com/dswd/Swine/commits/master last commit was: New languages, version 1.0.4 dswd authored on 9 Jul 2013 So I don't see active development. And can we hope for a qt5 port?

I spoke to upstream to confirm that they are not dead. Upstream stated that new development wasn't a priority at this time, but they would fix any bugs if we find any. Regarding Py3, upstream said that they would be interested in adding support for it. Regarding Qt5, upstream said that they were unfamiliar with it, so we could see it in the future, but not the immediate future.
Alright. Here's where things stand for the moment: Py2 only, I have an ebuild that installs, but it is very buggy. I'll add it to wine-overlay, masked, but I'm against its inclusion in the main tree until this have been remedied. As I'm maintaining wine, I'll take official responsibility for it.
Upstream now appears dead, and When testing on my end, I had a number of issues that I haven't resolved yet. Not looking good.
Dead upstream, buggy software
