Description Andrew Aladjev 2015-01-27 09:43:58 UTC
I've checked that /usr/lib32/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so is a symlink to /usr/lib32/opengl/ati/extensions/libglx.so but this file does not exist. I've removed symlink and xorg starts fine using /usr/lib64/opengl/ati/extensions/libglx.so

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Update to =x11-drivers/ati-drivers-14.12-r3 from 14.6_beta2 on amd64 machine with radeon video driver.
2. Start xdm, see Xorg.0.log

(EE) Failed to load /usr/lib32/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so: /usr/lib32/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Actual Results:
Xorg has failed to start

I don't know what is a proper way to fix this issue. Broken symlinks is bad, but xorg itself should not crash when it tries to load such symlinks.
