more appropriate for the sci team
Why has nothing been done with this? The ebuild currently in portage is horribly outdated. Even the webpage link in it 404s. Note that in portage tkseti is under x11-misc, which seems odd to me. Some seti monitoring tools are under app-sci, some under x11-misc. Wouldn't grouping them together somehow be a sensible idea?
Tried to use it here, the file isn't on any of the servers... one timed out, maybe that is where it was...
It must have been an temporary problem, everything is working fine right now.
Very strange, --------- >>> Downloading http://gentoo.eliteitminds.com/distfiles/tkseti-3.10.2.tar.gz The connection Attempt to gentoo.eliteitminds.com timed out ------------ I tried using kget to download it, figuring it would get at it eventually, and it downloaded it on the first try. Prozilla doesn't like gentoo.eliteitminds.com or something weird? *shrug*

Just come across this. We are now phasing out the classic SETI@home client, and so tkseti is now rendered obsolete. Once the classic client is removed all third party apps for it will also be removed. Please test the new boinc based SETI@home client.
