Created attachment 394260 [details] Screenshot As already discussed some time ago in #-wiki: The page footer is too large, to the point that it impedes the work flow. For example, when editing a page, after going to the end of the page (by pressing the "End" key), elements like the summary line or the "save page" button are no longer visible. So, can we have a more moderately sized footer, please? - Certainly there is no need to have the license information there three times. Currently CC-BY-SA is mentioned twice in the footer's text, and once more in the cc-by-sa.png icon. - The "More Gentoo Websites" list needs a lot of vertical space. - Finally, Znurt and the Black Thing are friends and shouldn't be separated by such a large distance. :) It is supposed to look like this: http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo/xml/images/gentoo-2.gif
Should be fixed now. (In reply to Ulrich Müller from comment #0) > So, can we have a more moderately sized footer, please? Don't ask what we can resize for you, ask what larger screen you can buy for us. ;) > - Certainly there is no need to have the license information there three > times. I guess we can live without any icons at all. > - The "More Gentoo Websites" list needs a lot of vertical space. On your screen size that's indeed a bit much. > - Finally, Znurt and the Black Thing are friends and shouldn't be separated > by such a large distance. :) It is supposed to look like this: > http://sources.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/gentoo/xml/images/gentoo-2.gif Wormholes may be part of future revisions.
