Description Christian Pötzsch 2004-06-11 09:02:07 UTC
The MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH env var isn't set to /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, so no plugin is available in epiphany/mozilla.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Start epiphany
2.try to view a pdf file
3.

Actual Results:
Acrobat PDF plugin should open, but does'nt it

in /etc/env.d/10mozilla should be
MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH=/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins
added.

This works here and is covered by nsplugins.eclass. Are /usr/lib/nsbrowser and /opt/netscape present on your filesystem?

whoa, this is an old bug, and in fact the things mentioned in this bug aren't
even what I was looking for.

nonetheless, this should be *truly* fixed with the new nsplugins-v2 patch in
these versions:

www-client/mozilla-1.7.10-r3
www-client/mozilla-firefox-1.0.6-r4
mail-client/mozilla-thunderbird-1.0.6-r4
