Description Sebastian Pipping gentoo-dev 2015-01-10 22:26:18 UTC
Ekopath 4.x may be Open Source, but 5.x does not seem to be.
I fail to find its source code and IRC channel #pathscale at Freenode has

  "EKOPath 5 official release is out (not open source) [..]"

as the topic as of today.

I would therefore propose to change the license entry of ekopath to

  LICENSE="all-rights-reserved"

so that users who try to keep non-free software off their system (say ACCEPT_LICENSE="-* @FREE" do not install it by accident, like I did.

Thanks!

This would also imply RESTRICT="mirror bindist".

5.0.5* had LICENSE=all-rights-reserved and RESTRICT=mirror already. I've added RESTRICT=bindist in 6*. This leaves us 5.0.1* to treeclean, but I'd like to hear from the original maintainers first.

Old versions treecleaned long ago.
