Bug 53581 – Using mythdvd to rip and transcode DVD result no file

Whe I use mythDVD to copy a DVD I get the "ripfrontend up" there I select a "track" and If I choose a "Perfec" rip I get a .vob file but if I select a "Good"  rip I get no file at all.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Rip a DVD with mythDVD

I just found this on the mythtv mailinglist

 It looks like xvid 0.92 it seen by avifiles as xvid but 1.1 is xvid4. I can
compile avifiles and transcode with xvid4 but right now mtd will only use
xvid in transcode comand -y xvid how to tell mtd to use -y xvid4 instead.

Ill will try to emerge the old 0.92 and see if that help me.

Didn't seams to resolve anything....

which version of mythdvd?

I was running ~x86 and looking at the timeframe were I reported it and compering with mythtv release cycle I would guess 0.15 (Don't know if I had the problem with 0.14 but probably)

Later I got it working but then I didn't remember this bugreport and now I don't remember what I did sorry. Ill try again with 0.16. It seems to work it started to re-encode here atleast it didn't do this when it didn't work. Don't know if anyone else has the problem. (you can close bug from my point of view)
