a3li, please reconsider this. This is a tiny change to CSS to maintain backwards compatibility with class="wikitable" used commonly. A small amount of work as compared to fixing all the uses of wikitable.

Compared to the increased spaciousness of the other design elements, it may appear smaller than before, but it is not.
