Hugin crashes after splashscreen window is displayed briefly with message: The program 'hugin' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)'. (Details: serial 679 error_code 1 request_code 155 minor_code 19) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) If I run "hugin --sync" I get the same message but with error code 1861 instead of 679. With hugin-2014.0.0 (which uses wxGTK 2.8 instead of 3.0) I get error codes 926 and 1946 (--sync). It was running fine until I did a revdep-rebuild. I think I found out where the problem comes from: I was experiencing problems with ATI proprietary drivers, so I tried to switch to the opensource radeon driver, except it didn't work and actually switched to my Intel integrated graphic card. So this bug happens actually only when I'm using the Intel integrated graphic card ("Intel Corporation 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06)", that is integrated with "Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4810MQ CPU", and uses i915 module). When I switch back to fglrx the bug disappears. I found out this after noticing that aegisub was triggering the same error and glxgears was also failing.
2016.2.0 looks to work ok
