Is there any reason you'd prefer not using the author's description of the package? > but I could not find out what clint exactly does... beside being awesome of > course ;-) Is there anything you think I should do to make this easier? I can add a long description to the metadata but that would require me to craft one. Do you mind providing the things that you feel should go into such a description?
I changed it in a fork on github. If the author is fine with that we will see it here with the next update. As you say its the best to correct it upstream and you fetch the DESCRIPTION from the upstream. So I suggest to close this bug.
Thanks Jonas. I'm happy you agree. I'll update the ebuild when I see the next bump come through. Thanks for the report and let me know if I miss anything.
