Plain text ebuild

Sorry about that! Uploading plain text; killed some extra whitespace; masked
as ~x86.

Plain text ebuild

now with a cvs header.
Comment 5 Karl Trygve Kalleberg (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-12-18 12:42:54 UTC
There are a few minor issues with this ebuild that must be fixed before we include it:

1) The header should assign the copyright to Gentoo Foundation
2) It should build the program entirely from source code
3) It should install the .jar files with java-pkg_dojar
4) It should use java-config -p to generate the correct classpath and generate
the startup script from that (you probably don't want to call java-config on
every program startup, however, so call java-config -p in the ebuild and save
the result in the startup script).

I'm sorry we're so extremely delayed over here. We've had a 500% increase in developer mass (from only me to currently five developers), so we hope to pick up speed in the coming months.

Please reopen the bug with the indicated fixes and we'll include it. Thanks a lot for you contribution. If you're angry with us, yell at us in #gentoo-java on irc.freenode.net.
