I personnaly use an init-rc script to update my IP address at boot (via DynDns). I thought it could be useful for other gentoo users. So I tuned it to make it acceptable and to support a configuration file. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

ok, that init.d script is waaaay too much cruft ... there's no reason to do all that file parsing, just install the config file as /etc/conf.d/dyndnsupdate and make it set bash variables
