Apparently old versions are being removed from the kde eclass, but the installed
packages require the information to uninstall... See what follows:

primus arts # qpkg -v arts
kde-base/arts-1.0.1 *
kde-base/arts-1.0.1.20020604 *
kde-base/arts-1.0.2
kde-base/arts-1.0.2-r1
kde-base/arts-1.0.6

primus arts # emerge -C =kde-base/arts-1.0.1

 kde-base/arts

oy, is this dup #10 of this bug yet ?

yet another duplicate of http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=5108
