Description Conrad Kostecki gentoo-dev 2014-12-10 22:08:49 UTC
net-wireless/blueman-9999 needs dev-python/pygobject-3*, but currently its ebuild is not depending on it.

When this package is missing, blueman-applet cannot be started and fails with "python: no module named gi found"

Reproducible: Always

The Problem is, that the ebuild check agains dev-python/pygobject-2 or dev-python/pygobject-3.

But if you have pulled dev-python/pygobject-2 because of depencies and using python 3.x, that will fail. If you are using python 3.x, dev-python/pygobject-3 must be used.

Fixed long ago.
