I know that the ebuild messages scrolling by before they can be read is a "feature", and thus a seporate issue... but lots of applications have funkey executable names.. like doomlegacy has something that starts with lldoom as it's game name.. or llxdoom... something like that... there should be a spot for / encouragement for / including the primary executable name and the primary help reference , and this should be included in the search performed by emerge -S I remember the names of applications by what I have to type in. and I just hate when tab completion doesn't work for me... kde... startkde... Xfree86 startX and the list goes on and on... genkernel is good... it's the executable name and the package name... we just can't have this luxury all the time though.. ;( Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
