I needed this module for making the Gallery script (galleryadd.pl) to work. Not sure if i should create an ebuild for the Gallery script as well.

Is gallery part of portage? Modules are only added if they fulfill a dependancy elsewhere in the tree - we just don't have the space or resources to maintain more than meets that criteria. Thanks for your understanding,

Oh, i didn't know the policy. No the gallery isn't a part of gentoo, you may close this bug.
