Description Jason McCormick 2004-06-06 17:56:55 UTC
I tried to build digikam (running ~x86) against KDE 3.2.2 and the autoconf section failed while trying to locate xml2pot. Quick digging found out this is in kdesdk however kdesdk isn't marked as a dependency for digikam. Emerging kdesdk first and then digikam solves the problem. This is for 0.5.1 but I quick look at open bugs for the 0.6.2 ebuild doesn't show that as a dependency either.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge digikam
2. The emerge fails during autoconf looking for xml2pot

Expected Results:
digikam ebuild should attempt to install kdesdk first.

this is a known upstream problem, kde apps shouldn't use xml2pot, added the dependency for now
