This patch adds the ability to let phpsysinfo v2.2 show the CPU's cache size in sparc machines. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. re-emerge phpsysinfo v2.2 Actual Results: It shows the cache size. Expected Results: It would not show the cache size at all. This is basically an addition to the new phpsysinfo v2.2 ebuild which is here http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=53170
Created attachment 32818 [details, diff] patch need to show cache size of sparc CPU's
I can't test this patch (I'm on x86). Could someone from the sparc team please look at this, and add it to Portage if it's valid and safe? Thanks, Stu
the class.Linux.inc.php patch is certainly seems valid on sparc architecture and works on my machine too, without it the cache size for the CPU is reported as N.A. and with it, obviously, it's reported as a number. However, as I have zero knowledge of PHP I won't comment on the 'safe' part :) freshy98, can you also send this upstream and get the authors comments?
Allready sent upstream. I did that right after I posted it here. No word from the maintainers though...
Any word from upstream on this?
No, haven't heard nothing at all from the maintainers of phpsysinfo. Maybe I should e-mail them again on this. Will do so when I get home again.
phpsysinfo-2.3-r2 finaly includes this patch.
