Simple ebuild-renaming works, so bump is trivial (and contains some fixes for very annoying issues with alt-keys). But lxde-meta hard-depends on lxterminal-0.1.11, maybe that should be changed to a >=0.1.11.
I've successfully bumped it to /usr/local/portage. I did very much the same with lxde-meta, renaming it, changing the RDEPENDS constrain for lxterminal then ebuild/digest it. I updated /etc/portage/packages.keyword accordingly. Since I'm not an ebuild expert system update via "emerge -uDN world" didn't succeeded. I had to emerge -1 =lxde-meta & emerge -1 =lxterminal. My point is that icon in lxde-panel for new lxterminal has been changed to a daisy chain. Any idea how to recover original icon?

I did a version bump for lxterminal with a trivial name change, so closing this issue. I agree that lxde-meta should not hard depend on lxterminal-0.1.11, so I will update that seperately as well. The icon change might be done by upstream. I may take a look if I get some time.
