gmt-cvs-4.0.ebuild (New ebuild)

Not finished. I'm having problems to run csh install scripts as I normally use
bash.
Comment 2 Thomas Raschbacher gentoo-dev 2004-06-16 03:37:28 UTC
is there an official release too? (by policy we usually try to avoid cvs ebuilds[for bug reasons])
Comment 3 Castelão 2004-06-19 10:16:11 UTC
Hi Thomas,

there is an official release for 4.0b, but the series 3 is still the operational one. The branch 4 haven't been updated and there is some bugs. The gmt-4.0b.ebuild, that I submited, will be usefull when branch 4 become the operational one, but for now it's not.

Another point is that gmt-cvs.*.ebuild could made GMT developer's life easier.
Comment 4 Castelão 2005-11-07 09:01:23 UTC
Thomas, I don't see anymore the need of this ebuild, except if there people on
Gentoo community involved on the GMT development to justify that. The version
4.0 is now the current.

Fell free to kill this bug and forget this ebuild, at least from me.
Comment 5 Marcus D. Hanwell (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-27 17:04:07 UTC
Closing the bug for now as there doesn't seem to be any real need for it. If we
do have a lot of GMT developers using GMT they could always use an overlay.
Please do let me know if there is any pressing reason to add a live CVS ebuild.
