Description Jared B. 2004-06-05 10:08:21 UTC
Hello.

Attached are two ebuilds - meanwhile-0.2 and meanwhile-gaim-0.78. Meanwhile is an open-source implementation of the Lotus Sametime protocol. Meanwhile-gaim is a plugin for Gaim that allows Gaim to act as a Sametime client. Both ebuilds should probably be placed in the net-im/ tree.

More information can be found on the Meanwhile website: http://meanwhile.sourceforge.net/.

Thanks!
Jared

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download ebuild packages
2. Unzip /usr/local/portage/net-im/
3. emerge meanwhile-0.2 or meanwhile-gaim-0.78 (both will automatically install the other)

Done. The reason I originally posted the tarballs was to include the Changelog, metadata.xml, etc. The new attachments are just the ebuild.

I appreciate the effort, but ChangeLog (as well as digest) is generated automatically by our dev tools and I can handle the rest. Usually you'll be doing more than enough by providing an ebuild and any patches if required.

Working on this now. FYI meanwhile-gaim will probably be merged into gaim CVS before 0.79, definitely by 0.80.
Comment 8 Don Seiler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-06-05 20:05:37 UTC
Also FYI I'm going to put the meanwhile libs into net-libs, not net-im.
Comment 9 Don Seiler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-06-05 20:13:57 UTC
net-libs/meanwhile and net-im/meanwhile-gaim added to portage CVS. Thanks.

I updated meanwhile and meanwhile-gaim shortly after they were released yesterday. I monitor their releases so there is no need to post request bugs like this. If you do, however, please post them as new bugs. This bug is resolved and no new issues should be appended to it.
