Description Adam 2004-06-04 18:27:44 UTC
I emerged kdevelop with the regular command:

emerge kdevelop

I was running KDE at the time. Afterwards, I opened the K Menu and a new menu item, OpenOffice.org 1.1.0 appeared, but no menu items for KDevelop anywhere. OpenOffice.org did not get installed, and kdevelop seemed to, as I would expect.

The version of KDevelop that got installed was the latest version it said is available, 3.0.3.

I installed Gentoo from the 2004.0 Minimal CD.

Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1. enter the command "emerge kdevelop"

Actual Results:
kdevelop was installed, but with OpenOffice.org's K menu options

Expected Results:
Installed KDevelop's K menu options

Comment 1 Adam 2004-06-07 12:40:38 UTC
I discovered an empty folder in my home directory named:

/home/adam/.kde/share/applnk-mdk/$HOME

$HOME is literally the name of the folder. I don't know if it's connected to this bug.
