I just wanna report that kportagemaster sometimes closes itself during emerging
large packages with many dependencies. I encountered this bug while emerging
EVOLUTION. It was not possible to emerge it with kportagemaster though it was no
problem with commandline.

Thanks for this bug,

A few questions:
Which version of kportagemaster do you use?
Which version of qt?

Should this bug be here? I think, it's a bug of kportagemaster, not of gentoo.

Qt 3.0.4 had problems with qtextedit, this might be the problem.

Yes, after I sent this BUG-Report I realized that it should be sent to the
Programmer of Kportagemaster.
Btw. it was QT 3.0.5 and Kportagemaster 0.3.
I will close this Bug-Report and contact the Author of Kportagemaster.
