It'd be very nice if Bugzilla could modify emila headers so taht all mails pertaining to a bug are put in one thread (e.g. by kmail). They can then be easily viewed, sorted, deleted etc. as a group and my Gentoo/Bugs mailbox will look a lot more tidy.
I guess this can be done, don't think it's worth putting lots of time in (if it's needed). The mails are more a notification (thus just delete them after you have read them). All information in them are available in the bugzilla-page.
I'm not sure that it has the ability to do this, but I'll look.
you would probably have to hack the bugzilla in some way.
Well, to be fair I'll say I don't really need it all that much, so don't do anything aobut it if you're not interested in the functionality yourself :)
It would be nice functionality, but I'm going to concentrate on making bugzilla workable as it currently is. Considering the amount of email I get related to bugs, I definitly like this idea. :)
I was doing a cleanup of my bug list and came across this. I think it should be closed, don't you? I don't care about it anymore, I've realized the suggestion of managing the bugs and viewing the comments from the web niterface is a good one. I don't keep the notices bugzilla sends me anymore.
I'm doing another cleanup of my buglist and I'm closing this. If you disagree say so, but since you didn't reply to my previous comment I suppose that you won't.
Just set the header: In-Reply-To: <bug-%bugid%@bugs.gentoo.org> in "newchangedmail" in bugzilla parameters.
