Description Detro 2004-06-02 08:34:55 UTC
New iBook have a simple but critical problem: sync radeonfb-monitor lcd does not work. This because the iBook-firmware-ID it's changed from "PowerBook6,3" to "PowerBook6,5".
Benh have solved the problem... but this patch it isn't (it's strange) in the official patch.

Beacuse of Benh have merged is kernel with vanilla => ppc-development-sources will exist any more.

The question is: why do not merge in the "gentoo-dev-source" ebuild the patch?
This is the link:

It must run also on other machines without problem (IMHO).

Thanks...

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge gentoo-dev-sources
