After disabling that and rebooting six times, no sign of the warning. (That's not conclusive) (And I hadn't realized that DELL_LAPTOP != DCDBAS).

Cannot reproduce on 3.18.7-gentoo. Closing as OBSOLETE, hope that's the right thing to do. Thanks again for your attention.
