Created attachment 387318 [details] tlsdate-0.0.11.ebuild tlsdate in gentoo is 0.0.6, upstream is 0.0.11. While trying to update i found this: rm -r "${ED}"/etc || die #446426 Bug #446426 says this was added because tlsdate installed ca certificates it didn't use. However it seems this is no longer true, current versions (including 0.0.6 which is latest in portage) do use them. It may be debatable if this is a good idea, but to make it working this line needs to be removed (or tlsdate patched to use system-provided certs). Upstream seems to remove certs it considers not trustworthy which may be a good idea.
should be all set now in the tree; thanks for the report! Commit message: Version bump http://sources.gentoo.org/net-misc/tlsdate/metadata.xml?r1=1.1&r2=1.2 http://sources.gentoo.org/net-misc/tlsdate/tlsdate-0.0.11.ebuild?rev=1.1
