Screen would be very helpful for people requiring install help. I've ssh'ed into several peoples livecd's to help them get things configured, and it would be so helpful to have a screen session where we can both see what's going on. Elinks is just way better than links, linx or links2. Install it and view the gentoo.org install manual. It's just SO much easier to follow. The colors are there and match what the gentoo.org xml settings require instead of that crappy all black and white colors. You can symlink it on the livecd and no one would know the difference and the install docs wouldn't have to be changed to say "elinks" instead of "links2". Thanks in advance. Tamran
We use links2 for a reason, and that is that it provides us with a framebuffer version, also. It doesn't look like elinks has anything comparable. As for screen, it is already in the spec files/templates for 2004.2, so I guess I can resolve this one.
