I just saw at http://dxr3.sf.net that version 0.14 of the em8300 drivers (for the dxr3 and hollywood+ cards) have been released some while ago, so I think media-video/em8300-libraries and media-video/em8300-modules need a version bump.

It compiled fine for me I had to update the modules file to the following to get my dxr3 working: #DXR3 alias char-major-121 em8300 pre-install em8300 modprobe adv717x post-install em8300 em8300setup options adv717x pixelport_16bit=1 pixelport_other_pal=0 options em8300 dicom_fix=0 dicom_control=0 dicom_other_pal=0
Thank you for your report Lars. An ebuild for version 0.14 has been added to cvs. I've also added an ebuild for the cvs version which works on kernel 2.6. Jauke: The options you added to the modules file in depends on the specific card.
