from the current cvs-version it is possible to build a gtk2-version :) maybe someone should try this one also and create a new package aka sylpheed-claws-cvs w/ gtk2-support

The deps are not cleaned in portage. See attached patch for updated dependencies. Maildir support should probably go into different bug.
