Description Wilbert van Bakel 2002-07-19 11:53:26 UTC
gentoo-1.3b.
portage-2.0.13

emerge -b qt-docs installs the files in /doc/flyers and /doc/html.
It should go under /usr/qt/3/doc.
Comment 1 Wilbert van Bakel 2002-07-19 11:59:52 UTC
Also examples, tutorial and man are found in /
Comment 2 Dan Armak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-07-21 10:14:39 UTC
I've just released qt-dcs-3.0.5; please check if this happens with this new
vesrion.

Also, are all files instaled in / or do some end up in /usr/qt/3/doc? Are there
any errors during the emerge process?
Comment 3 Matt Caesar 2002-07-24 09:57:06 UTC
I just emerged qt-docs-3.0.5 and everything is installed in the root directory.

This is apparently the fault of a pkg_setup bug that was discovered and
(apparently) fixed in portage 2.0.19 or thereabouts (which is still masked).
Anyhow the qt-docs ebuild has been changed not to use pkg_setup for now, this
was some time ago but I forgot to update the bugreport. Please confirm the the
ebuild installs into /usr/qt/3 now.
Comment 6 Marcel Martin 2002-08-02 18:19:12 UTC
Using portage 2.0.23 qt-docs-3.0.4.1 now installs correctly into /usr/qt/3/ (and as far as I can tell, nowhere else). I could not test 3.0.5, yet.
Comment 7 Dan Armak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-08-03 03:49:28 UTC
OK, then the fix worked.
Comment 8 Wilbert van Bakel 2002-08-03 12:58:27 UTC
Portage 2.0.23 installed qt-docs-3.0.5 correctly in /usr/qt/3.

Thanks!
